I am Jordi Vidal and I have always been fascinated by the world of music and photography. Since I completed my studies at Barcelona's Institut d'Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya, I have worked in different fields of photography: visual reporting, industrial, advertising, publishing,..., whilst specialising in reporting on entertainments.

As a photographer for Barcelona's Grec Festival, for three years I have worked with promoters, musicians, record companies, dancers and choreographers, producing photos for promotion, posters and record sleeves. I have had photos published in most national newspapers and in the international press. I was  head of photography and photographer for the magazines Guitarra Total  and Batería Total for ten years. I regularly work with the most important music magazines in Spain, such as Rockdelux, Ruta66  and Ritmos del Mundo.

I have performed numerous exhibitions of my photographs -whether those of music, dance or my illustrated reports from India, Bangladesh and Cuba. I have also been chosen twice to participate in Catalonia's Photographic Spring.

I am lucky to have been able to do most of my work in such a fantastic city as Barcelona, where I have my studio. At the same time, I am always willing to travel anywhere that will provide my camera with a new challenge.
